CPS Awarded City of Piedmont EDMS Modernization Project

Complete Paperless Solutions is proud to announce that the City of Piedmont has selected CPS to lead its enterprise content management modernization initiative.

Following a competitive procurement process, the City chose CPS to implement a comprehensive Laserfiche Cloud platform that will replace its legacy TRIM environment and establish a secure, Trustworthy digital records foundation across departments.

This engagement represents more than a technology upgrade. It is a structured transformation of how information is governed, accessed, retained, and protected. The project includes disciplined conversion and migration of historical records, alignment of retention schedules to operational workflows, and the intentional design of a cloud architecture that supports both transparency and defensibility. With CPS VIP services supporting the initiative, the City will have long-term strategic guidance alongside day-to-day operational support.

Claude Schott, CFO of CPS, shared:

“Winning this project is about more than replacing software. It is about helping the City of Piedmont build a modern, defensible, and future-ready records environment. Legacy migrations require discipline, experience, and precision. Our team has completed hundreds of conversions, and we are committed to delivering a structured implementation that protects the City’s data while positioning them for long-term operational excellence.”

The engagement will begin with detailed requirements validation, metadata normalization, retention alignment, and security architecture configuration prior to phased departmental rollout. The City is projected to reach full production in phases through 2026.

CPS continues to partner with California municipalities that recognize modern ECM is no longer just about storage and retrieval. It is about governance, resilience, and building systems that stand up to scrutiny.

We are honored to welcome the City of Piedmont to the CPS client community.
