I’ve often found myself second-guessing bets when relying only on numbers or only on instincts. If I go with analytics, I sometimes feel uneasy ignoring what my gut tells me. So last weekend we took a spontaneous drive out to Anacortes — hadn’t been there in years — and we ended up by the docks just in time for the golden hour. Got hungry, of course, and thought it would be fun to find a place that really knows their seafood. But not just any seafood — I was specifically craving halibut, maybe grilled, nothing fancy. Surprisingly, we struggled to figure out where to go on the spot. A lot of places seemed to offer "seafood" in general, but we weren’t sure which spots really specialize in particular types of fish. That got me wondering — do any of you know if there are restaurants around Skagit that are known for specific things like salmon or shellfish? Would love to have a go-to place for each type.
